TRANSFER STATION:
Located on Lindsey Rd (just south of the 9 Mile intersection) with the drive being north of the township hall and towards the rear of the property, the Transfer Station is maintained under strict state regulations, and IS FOR ORANGEVILLE RESIDENTS ONLY!
It is extremely important to have your 2023 transfer sticker with you when you use the Transfer Station. Brush and propane tanks are not accepted.
Hours:
9a.m. – 3p.m. | 1st & 3rd Saturday of every month
Rates are determined by the transfer station operator at the time of dumping. Due to the variety of items we receive, items of an odd type, shape, or weight (example: a pull out sofa, which is a sofa and a bed and a bedspring, or many garbage bags that don’t fill a truck bed), will be estimated at a price within the present rates provided.

To keep the area clean, if the bins are full please do not place recycles on the ground, instead return another day as we will monitor the container frequently to be emptied.
THIS RECYCLE BIN IS PROVIDED FOR THE USE OF ORANGEVILLE TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS ONLY.
In addition to our local program, Barry County Solid Waste offers two days during the year for recycling at the Barry County Fairgrounds. They accept household hazardous waste, expired or unused medicines, tires and oil products. Dates are published in the Hastings Banner for May and September. Please consider using this resource to recycle and dispose of your household hazardous waste.
