Litter Ordinance
Orangeville Township Board passes Litter Ordinance. Stipulations in this
ordinance state that any violation covered under Barry County Zoning
Ordinances will be enforced by the county enforcement officer.
Furthermore, violations received by the township be acted upon only after
voted upon by the board to proceed with complaint. It is not the
intention of the township to replace the duties of the county enforcement
officer, but to have authority to act when the county cannot.
Also in recent news: Township recognizes hemp as agricultural product per
recent changes in federal law and the Michigan Industrial Hemp Research
and Development Act, Public Act 641 of 2018.

Absent Voter Ballot Application
Due to the passage of the statewide ballot proposal 18-3, all eligible and registered voters in Michigan may now request an absent voter ballot without providing a reason. On November 5th, Orangeville Township registered voters in Thornapple Kellogg School District & Plainwell School District will be going to the polls to vote on bond proposals. Voters in these districts wishing to vote absentee may submit an Absent Voter Ballot Application.
**Note: Please indicate on #3a where to mail your ballot if the address is different than your registration info. Also, you can at this time request to be put on a permanent absentee voter application list by checking #3b.
