Board of Review Meeting
The Orangeville Township Board of Review will meet Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 4:00pm here at the Hall. Clerical errors in the tax roll will be corrected, principal residence exemptions will be granted and poverty exemption appeals heard. No valuation appeals will be heard.

Fire Chief Dan Boulter Retired
Fire Chief Dan Boulter retired June 5th, 2018 after 46 years of service.
The Township Board and Orangeville residents wish the best for Dan in his
retirement and thank him for his many years of outstanding dedication.
Assistant Fire Chief Matt Ribble has been appointed to the position of
Fire Chief. We look forward to having such a qualified person lead our
fire department. Congratulations Dan and Matt!
Scrap Tire Clean-Up & Scrap Metal Fundraiser
The Scrap Tire Clean-Up & Orangeville Fire Fighter Association Scrap Metal Fundraiser was a huge success. 2,169 tires loaded into 2 semis, and a full roll off of scrap metal donated. The scrap metal fund raiser will continue.

- Air conditioners
- Washers
- Dryers
- Any and all scrap metal
Location of scrap metal bin is at the Orangeville Fire Dept. parking lot. Please only metal! Recyclables go in recycle bins, trash and other items to the transfer station.

New Cemetery Software Program
Orangeville Township is updating to a cemetery software program. This will require many hours to input the data from our handwritten ledger system. Lot owners, occupants, mapping and burial transit records (if available) will be used to provide as detailed information as possible. Once completed you will be able to access this information online. We will keep everyone updated on the progress of this project.
Barry County Limits Boat Slips at Landing Marina to 6

Barry County Planning Commission Approves $5M Expansion at Bay Pointe Inn
The Barry County Planning Commission voted 5-1 at a hearing on Monday, Feb. 26, to approve a special use permit in a rural residential area to Bay Pointe Corp., owned by Mike Powers. More than 60 residents came out for the meeting.
